To comply with FINRA Rule 2090, Clearinghouse requires a copy of each auction registrant's driver's license as a form of identification verification. You will only be required to upload your driver's once for multiple auction event registrations. You will be notified by Clearinghouse when your license expires and be prompted to provide an updated license for our records.
Click on the Upload Driver's License button to open the Upload Driver's License form.
Complete the Upload Driver's License form and upload a digital copy of your driver's license. You can use a scanned version or simply take a photo with your phone, email it to yourself and upload the attachment.
Your account Dashboard highlights the registration status of each service offering. Note: Registration is not required for Negotiated Transactions or Private Sales. In this example, the account holder represents two different entities; ACME Oil & Gas Inc. and Oilism Energy Services. At this stage neither of the company profiles are registered for the Continuous Online Auction. Click the Register Now button to begin the registration process.
The registration process is a simple two-step process. We simply need to know which Participation Role and Payment Method you are planning for the auction. Be sure to select all Company Profiles (entities) that you intend to purchase properties on behalf of. Complete the form and click the Continue to Registration Review button. Note: For Online Only Auctions the only Participation Role available is Internet Bidder.
IMPORTANT: If you plan to purchase properties in more than one entity name, you must register each entity.
In this final step, review your auction registration and digitally sign the Client Representations & Acknowledgements AND the Buyer Representations & Acknowledgements sections. Click the Submit Registration button to notify Clearinghouse that your registration is ready for processing. Once processed you will be notified via email which will contain a copy of your registration.
You can monitor the status of your registration from your Dashboard. Once approved you will gain the ability to submit bids on auction listings. For more information on bid placements visit Submitting a Bid. If you need to add an additional company profile to your registration, you can click the Re-Register Now button at anytime.
