What is needed to browse The Clearinghouse website for information on the properties?

You will be required to have a client number and password in order to view data. In order to obtain a client number and password, contact The Clearinghouse at (281) 873-4600 and ask for bidder registration support.

 

How can I tell if I have a Client Number?

You already have a Client Number if you receive mailings from The Clearinghouse. Your Client Number is the 5-digit number above your name on the mailing label of your auction sale brochure. If you cannot find your Client Number or have forgotten your password, call The Clearinghouse's bidder registration department at 281.873.4600.


What do I do if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, send an email to support@ogclearinghouse.com, including your Client Name and phone number.  You can also call The Clearinghouse at 281.873.4600 and ask for bidder registration support.  You will be contacted to verify your identity and we will reset your password.

How can I change my user name or contact information?

If you would like to change your contact information, contact The Clearinghouse by calling 281.873.4600 or by sending an email to support@ogclearinghouse.com.


What is the difference between Bidder Registration and  Viewer Registration?

Viewers and Bidders are required to register as a knowledgeable and sophisticated party. Bidders must also furnish a bank letter and execute the Buyer’s Terms and Conditions. Bidders may bid on properties, viewers may not.


How do I log on to bid or to view the auction?

You must first register as a qualified bidder or viewer. To register online, go to www.ogclearinghouse.com, click on the auction gavel, and then select Register to Bid or View.

  • If you are already a registered client, please enter your Client Number and password in the designated fields.
  • If not, select Click Here located just under New to the Clearinghouse?
  • Follow the instructions to apply for a Clearinghouse Client Number.

Do I have to be a Clearinghouse client to register for an auction?

Yes. You may apply for a Clearinghouse Client Number here.  

I am a registered client with The Clearinghouse and I have registered to bid at previous auctions. Do I need to register for each auction?

Yes. Registration is necessary for each sale you wish to participate in.

Where do I find a lot number for the properties I am interested in? Do I need to know my lot numbers?

Auction properties are sold as lots. You MUST identify your lot numbers prior to bidding. Lot numbers are available in the auction brochure that is mailed to our clients and on our website under Data Room Explorer.
